“Global Wisdom, Powering Forward” — Reanda International 2025 International Members Meeting Successfully Held in Xiamen, China

On 8-9 December, 2025, Reanda International's 2025 International Members Meeting, themed “Global Wisdom, Powering Forward,” was successfully held in Xiamen, China. The hybrid meeting brought together core partners and representatives from Reanda International network firms across Asia & Oceania, Southeast Asia and South Asia, Middle East and Africa, and Europe. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on strategic planning, regional development, tax services, consulting and ESG, AI and Data Compliance, jointly charting a new blueprint for the global professional services industry. 

The International Members Meeting commenced on 8 December, hosted by Ms. Alberta Sie, Company Secretary of Reanda International. Mr. Huang Jinhui, Chairman of Reanda International, provided an in-depth reflection of Reanda International's development strategy and implementation path for the next phase. Mr. Franklin Lau, CEO of Reanda International, delivered a comprehensive report integrating the network's annual achievements with its medium-to-long-term strategic planning.

Regional Presidents from Asia and Oceania, Southeast Asia and South Asia, Middle East and Africa, and Europe shared updates on the network activities held and the latest business developments in their respective regions.

The conference featured four thematic sessions, precisely targeting four core areas—Audit, Tax, Consulting & ESG and AI —to address cutting-edge industry topics.

The Tax session was chaired by Mr. Koong Lin Loong, Chairman of the Reanda International Tax Panel, Regional President of the South Asia and Southeast Asia of Reanda International, and Managing Partner of Reanda Malaysia. Mr. Howard Ting, Director of Reanda International and Managing Director of Reanda Australia, and Mr. Avinash Jagetiya, Regional President for the Middle East and Africa region and Managing Director of Reanda UAE. Aligning with global tax environment trends, they explored opportunities and challenges for network firms and clients, shared practical response experiences, and provided professional tax solutions for cross-border business operations.

The Audit session was hosted by Mr. Kenny Choi, Global Technical Officer of Reanda International and Director of Reanda Hong Kong. Speakers include Mr. Nelson Tsang, Director of Reanda Hong Kong, and Mr. Jeroen Spiekker, Head of Professional Practice and Quality of Reanda Netherlands. They conducted specialized discussions on three key topics: audit quality management, group audits—sharing experience and challenges, and audit updates—key changes and experience sharing. These sessions provided diverse insights for enhancing the quality of audit services across the global network.

The Consulting and ESG session was chaired by Mr. Franklin Lau, CEO of Reanda International. Ms. Olga Lukashenko, Partner of Reanda Netherlands; Mr. Kenny Choi, Global Technical Officer of Reanda International and Director of Reanda Hong Kong; Ms. Vivienne Chiang, Director of Reanda International and Managing Partner of Reanda Singapore; and Mr. Ken Wu, Managing Partner of Reanda Taiwan. They engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including Reanda's consulting business development strategy and practical experiences in transitioning from traditional auditing to ESG services, fostering consensus on the global expansion and professional advancement of the network’s consulting services.

As the first day of the meeting drew to a close, directors of Reanda International and regional presidents and vice-regional presidents from the Europe Region, Southeast Asia and Southeast Asia Region, Asia and Oceania Region, and Middle East and Africa Region jointly participated in a high-level dialogue. They engaged in strategic discussions centered on the core theme on fully leveraging Regional Presidents' responsibilities and empower collaborative development among global network firms, discussed directions for refining regional management mechanisms and strengthening global synergy.

On 9 December, the meeting entered its final key segment, AI & Data Compliance session. Hosted by Mr. Howard Ting, Director of Reanda International and Managing Partner of Reanda Australia, the session featured presentations by Mr. Zuo Jiaqi, representative of Reanda China, and Mr. Meng Hua, Director of 5 Plus Business Consulting. Drawing on industry benchmark practices, they shared innovative AI applications in professional services, analyzed key data compliance management points and risk prevention measures, and provided valuable practical references for network firms to enhance service efficiency and strengthen compliance defenses during digital transformation. 

In closing, Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui delivered concluding remarks, extending heartfelt gratitude and warm greetings to all attendees. He expressed gratitude to three groups: First, partners and representatives from over 30 countries and regions worldwide who traveled to Xiamen for the 2025 Annual Conference and meetings. Their strong support and active participation form the solid foundation for Reanda International's sustainable, high-quality development. Second, gratitude was extended to senior partners who have steadfastly supported Reanda International's growth over the past 16 years, such as Mr. Peter Polgar, Founding Director of Reanda Australia and his wife, as well as Mr. Pinaki Das, Senior Partner of the Bangladesh firm. Their perseverance and commitment were praised as exemplary models for all new and existing partners. Third, gratitude was extended to the CEO, Regional Presidents and Vice Regional Presidents of Reanda International. Their leadership has guided network firms worldwide to overcome challenges and achieve mutual success amid complex global political and economic conditions, propelling Reanda International's steady advancement within the international industry. In closing remarks, the CEO revisited the achievements of 2025 and shared future outlooks, expressing anticipation for reuniting in 2026.
