The Southeast Asia and South Asia annual regional meeting of Reanda International successfully concluded on 10 May 2022

The Southeast Asia and South Asia annual regional meeting of Reanda International was held through video conference on 10 May 2022. Some 30 partners and personnel from network firms across Bangladesh, Cambodia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand from the region as well as Reanda International Beijing headquarters and Hong Kong administrative office attended the meeting. 

 

The meeting, chaired by the regional president Mr. L.L. Koong of the Southeast Asia and South Asia region, aims to facilitate mutual collaboration and strengthen the exchanges amongst network firms in the region. The meeting was kicked off by the opening remarks made by the Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui and the CEO Mr. Franklin Lau. Chairman Mr. Huang highlighted the resilience performance of the regional members despite being overshadowed by Covid-19 globally, as well as the strong momentum of referral cases in the Southeast Asia and South Asia region. He also emphasized that Reanda International would continue to advocate for the implementation of high-quality standards by member firms, further boost the collaboration between members as well as step up the Reanda brand promotion efforts globally. Mr. Franklin Lau, the CEO of Reanda International, briefed about further network’s initiatives after being a full member of Forum of Firms. Mr. Koong continued the meeting by presenting the regional members’ participation in the network’s activities recently and the latest development of Reanda Malaysia as well as encouraging members’ active participation in the upcoming tax initiatives of the network. 

During the meeting, Mr. Pinaki Das, Mr. Surapon Thawanyavichaji, Mr. Bishnu Prasad Bhandari, Mr. Larry Ng and Mr. Muhammad Farooq, partners of Reanda network firms from Bangladesh, Thailand, Nepal, Cambodia and Pakistan respectively presented their firms’ latest development under the current global situation. The meeting concluded with beneficial and passionate discussions on potential cooperation between regional members as well as expectation and suggestions for Reanda International. All the valuable ideas and advice were recorded for further assessment and determination. 

 

At the closure of the meeting, Reanda International Beijing headquarter has reiterated the importance of setting up China desks by network firms to facilitate the communications between their firms and the Chinese clients and potential prospects, and has encouraged the network firms in the region to recruit suitable candidates to chair this important position.
