Reanda International hosted the 7th “Belt and Road” Business Services Forum cum the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Reanda in Beijing, China

On 18 November 2023, the 7th “Belt and Road” Business Services Forum, co-hosted by Reanda International, Reanda Certified Public Accountants LLP, Accounting Society for Foreign Economic Relations & Trade of China, and China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector, was grandly and successfully held in Beijing, China. The Forum was also supported by the China Institute of International Trade, the China Industry Overseas Development Association and the China-Africa Private Chamber of Commerce. The Forum was well attended by over 500 distinguished guests and delegates, including government leaders, Foreign Envoys in China, former officials from the offices of Chinese embassies abroad, experts, scholars, representatives of “going out” Chinese enterprises and business services organisations, media and global partners of Reanda. The Forum was broadcast live through the Reanda International Finance and Taxation Micro Classroom, with more than 10,000 views.

The Forum was hosted by Ms. Li Dan who is the host of SSE Newspaper of Xinhua News Agency and the ambassador of China Charity Federation's "Care for Women's Health" campaign. The theme of the Forum was “Enterprise Compliance Management and Economic Information Security”.

Speeches

An opening remark was delivered by Mr. Chen Lantong, the former executive vice president and director general of the China Enterprise Confederation and the former vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. It was followed by a speech from Mr. Huang Mengfu, the vice chairman of the 10th and 11th CPPCC and the chairman of the 9th and 10th All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Keynote speeches were delivered by Mr. Jiang Zengwei, the chairman of the Global Alliance for Trade in Service and the former vice minister of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce; and Mr. Wang Yaping, the chairman of the Accounting Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of China and the former counselor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus.

30th Anniversary Celebration

A celebration session was held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Reanda, hosted by Ms. Zhou Hongtao, Senior Partner of Reanda China.

Mr. Huang Jinhui, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Reanda International and the Chief Partner of Reanda Certified Public Accountants LLP, shared the 30-year journey of Reanda. The award presentations of the Reanda Founder Awards, the Reanda 30-year Contribution Award, the Reanda 20-year Contribution Award and 利安达会计师事务所(特殊普通合伙)创始合伙人奖 were witnessed by distinguished guests. The publications of the "Belt and Road" Accounting Services Trade Development Report (2022), the "Never Forgetting the Beginning and Moving Forward" commemorative album and the "Through the Wind and the Rain" biography were announced.

Awards Presentation and Agreement Signing

During the awards presentation and agreement signing session, Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui was honored to receive the "2023 ACCA Excellent Achievements Award" from Ms. Shao Nan, the chief representative of ACCA Beijing Representative Office for Northern China. Strategic cooperation agreements were entered between Reanda International, the Economic Counsellors Advisory Steering Committee of the China Association of International Trade, the China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector, and the China Overseas Development Association. A grand signing ceremony was also held to welcome new network firms from Angola, Qatar, Tajikistan, Tunisia and Zimbabwe joining Reanda International.

 

Keynote Presentations

During the keynote presentation session, the following six distinguished guests shared their insights, experiences and suggestions under the topic of promoting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative: Mr. Ma Jianchun, the former ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in the Gambia; H.E. Mr. Giuseppe Yoffreda Yorio, the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the People's Republic of China; Mr. Qiu Xiaohua, the former director general of the National Bureau of Statistics, a well-known economist and the chief economist of Sunshine Insurance Group; Mr. Kumbirai Diza, the Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in China; Mr. Gerard Uijtendaal, the European Regional President of Reanda International and the Managing Partner of Reanda Netherlands; and Mr. Rashed Awaji, the Managing Partner of Reanda Saudi Arabia.

Roundtable Discussion

During the roundtable discussion, it was hosted by Ms. Wang Yun, the vice-secretary general and the head of international affairs of the China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector. Distinguished panelists included Mr. Chai Haitao, a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the National High-end Think Tank, the former president of the Institute of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce; Mr. Jin Xu, the chairman of China Association of International Trade and the former minister counsellor for the Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in the UK; Mr. Han Bing, the former minister counselor of the Economic and Commercial Counselor Office of the Chinese embassies in Zimbabwe and Egypt, and the distinguished expert of the Economic and Commercial Counselor Advisory Steering Committee of China International Trade Society; Mr. Jiang Yun, the secretary-general of the China Overseas Development Association; Mr. Wang Liyan, the doctoral supervisor and professor of the Guanghua School of Management in Peking University; Mr. Xie Zhihua, the senior vice president of Yonyou Network Technology Co., Ltd. Under the theme of the “Belt and Road” Chinese Enterprise Overseas Business Compliance Management and Economic Information Security, the distinguished guests actively exchanged views on the difficulties encountered by Chinese enterprises when developing overseas business and how the enterprises to address the issues. They also raised out valuable advice and suggestions to professional services organisations how to better provide professional services to “going-out” Chinese enterprises to support the Chinese enterprises to enhance overseas economic interests and protect economic information security.

This year, the Forum featured innovative and inspirational sessions. Guests were greatly benefited from the expert advice and insights of all speakers. The Forum was auspiciously and successfully concluded with the wonderful closing speech of Mr. Liu Shanzai, the founder of Reanda, the former vice minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, and the former deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong and the warm applause of the participants.
