In the morning of 6 December 2025, under the guidance of Reanda International and Jimei University, the Reanda International · Jimei University Global Economic Frontiers Academic Lecture was grandly held in Room 101, Wenjin Building, School of Finance and Economics of Jimei University. The lecture brought together over 200 participants, including experts and scholars, corporate representatives, global partners from Reanda International, as well as faculty and student representatives from Jimei University.
The lecture was hosted by Ms. Zhao Xiaowei, Director of Reanda International. Ms. Zhao introduced the attending principal leaders and distinguished guests. Subsequently, Mr. Zheng Zhiqian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee at Jimei University, and Mr. Huang Jinhui, Chairman of Reanda International, delivered welcoming addresses and extended a warm welcome to all guests.

During the keynote lectures, several experts shared cutting-edge insights. Mr. Ma Jianchun, President of the China Society for World Trade Organization Studies and former Chinese Ambassador to The Gambia, provided an in-depth analysis of the new landscape and challenges on China's foreign trade development.

Mr. Jin Xu, President of the China Society for International Trade, former Minister-Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom, and senior volunteer at Reanda, drew upon his extensive professional experience to share insights from Sino-British economic cooperation and core pathways for cultivating international talent.

Mr. Wang Yaping, President of the China Society of Foreign Trade Accounting, former Commercial Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus, and senior volunteer at Reanda, focused on key considerations for corporate international compliance within complex global economic and trade environments.

Subsequently, partners from Reanda International shared insights from an international perspective: Mr. Koong Lin Loong, Regional President of Reanda International Southeast Asia and South Asia Region and Managing Partner of Reanda Malaysia, shared the intrinsic logic behind ASEAN's emergence as a global economic accelerator within the context of Sino-American strategic competition.

Ms. Vivienne Chiang, Director of Reanda International and Managing Partner of Reanda Singapore, explored the profound impact of ESG on reshaping industry norms and individual career development.

Mr. Robert Bean, Vice Regional President of Reanda International European Region and Managing Partner of Reanda UK, outlined the latest developments in International Financial Reporting Standards.

Mr. Howard Ting, Director of Reanda International and Managing Director of Reanda Australia, analysed new opportunities and practical pathways for Sino-Australian cooperation.

Mr. Gerard Uijtendaal, Director of Reanda International, Regional President of Reanda International European Region, and Managing Partner of Reanda Netherlands, shared key considerations for cross-border investment compliance risk management.

Ms. Nadia Yaich, Vice Regional President of Reanda International Middle East and Africa region and CEO of Reanda Tunisia, highlighted potential growth opportunities and novel cooperation models within the North African market.

Mr. Rashed Awaji, Director of Reanda International, Vice Regional President of Reanda International Middle East and Africa region, and CEO of Reanda Saudi Arabia, elaborated on synergistic development prospects between Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and China's Belt and Road Initiative.
During the faculty and student representative speeches, experts, scholars, and young students from Jimei University demonstrated profound academic expertise and innovative thinking. Dr. Shoukat Iqbal Khattak from the School of Business Administration at Jimei University elaborated on the vision of diversified prosperity under the “BRICS Plus” and “Belt and Road” initiatives. Professor Ren Jianghui from the Institute of Maritime Silk Road Studies at Jimei University explored the significant role of overseas Chinese in the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative. Ms. Yang Wenbo, a 2024 graduate student in Auditing from Jimei University's School of Business Administration, shared insights on addressing greenwashing in environmental information and establishing cross-verification mechanisms; Ms. Lu Mingyue, a 2024 Master of Accounting candidate from Jimei University's School of Finance and Economics, analyzed the impact of digital investments on corporate resilience under external shock scenarios; Ms. Xu Xinyi, a 2023 undergraduate student from Jimei University's School of Foreign Languages, elaborated on the dual value of Business English in cross-cultural communication and compliance management.

Finally, during the open discussion session, Ms. Zeng Yanli, Dean of the School of Overseas Education at Jimei University, provided a brief overview of the school's profile and enrollment information.

The 3-hour lecture was successfully concluded. The attending leaders, guests, faculty and students had a fruitful exchange session.
