New correspondent firm in Brazil expands Reanda International’s coverage in Latin America

Reanda International is delighted to announce the admission of a new correspondent firm in Brazil effective 29 June 2020.

CNF Asssessoria e Pericias, a CPA firm under the Confidor group, was established in 2013. With well-established clientele, resources and manpower, the firm has a proven track record of performing audit and assurance works for listed and non-listed companies as well as the capacity to undertake transnational audit works. Leading by managing partner Mr. Gerd Foerster and partner Ms. Monica Foerster, the firm provides a wide range of services, including audit and assurance, advisory, corporate finance, litigation, valuation, insolvency, and outsourcing accounting, tax and payroll services. It also works with the Brazilian Court System and deals with juridical and legal Court advice. Mr. Gerd Foerster has more than 30 years experience in providing law, audit and accounting services to clients, while Ms. Monica Foerster, having 20 years of experience in the accounting profession, is the chair of the IFAC Small and Medium Practices Committee and a committee member since 2014. She is the SMP Director of the Brazil Ibracon and coordinator of the SMP Working Group at Ibracon as well as the coordinator of the Committee of Audit Studies (“Comissão de Estudos de Auditoria”) from the Accounting Council (CRCRS).

The firm is under a well-established group in Brazil, Confidor. Headquartered in Sao Paulo with further 2 offices in Porto Alegre and Curitiba, Confidor was established in 1958, with a total of 6 partners and a further 50 professionals. The group’s client base includes but not limited to companies from various sectors, including commercial, industrial, third sector, service, non-profit and investment fund.
