The seminar was hosted by Ms. Jacqueline Zhang, Assistant President of Reanda International. At the beginning of the event, Mr. Huang Jinhui, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Reanda International, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the organisers, extending a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to all attending leaders and distinguished guests. In his speech, Chairman Mr. Huang emphasised that the seminar aims to respond to national policy guidance by pooling resources from government, industry, academia, research, finance, and services to jointly explore pathways for building enterprise overseas service systems. He expressed the hope that through this seminar, all parties could work together to build an efficient and collaborative overseas service ecosystem. Leveraging Reanda International’s global service network and professional advantages, the company will provide Chinese enterprises with full-chain, one-stop overseas support to help them efficiently expand into international markets and achieve global business arena.

Ms. Gu Yanfen, former Party Member and Secretary-General of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, shared in her speech that enterprises going global must adhere to the bottom line of compliance and strengthen risk prevention and control. She hoped that this seminar would serve as an opportunity to pool multi-party efforts, integrate high-quality resources, and support Chinese enterprises in steadily exploring international markets and enhancing their global competitiveness.

In the keynote speech session, Mr. Chai Haitao, Executive Deputy Director of the Expert Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Investment and former President of the Institute of International Economic and Trade of the Ministry of Commerce, delivered a speech titled “Great Opportunities for Overseas Comprehensive Services During the 15th Five-Year Plan Period.” He analysed the development opportunities and service demand of Chinese enterprises overseas in the new era, pointing out the direction for building overseas service systems. Mr. Chai noted that during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, enterprises going global will encounter new opportunities such as the integration of trade and investment, the deepening of Belt and Road cooperation, and deeper economic integration in Asia. Digital intelligence and green development will become core trends. Professional service institutions should base their services on enterprise needs and provide full-cycle, follow-through services to effectively support Chinese enterprises in “going global” with high quality.

A highlight of the seminar was the signing and launching of several major cooperation agreements: Reanda International held a plaque-unveiling ceremony with Tianjin Foreign Studies University to establish an overseas internship base; signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Tianjin Binhai High-Tech Zone; and officially held the appointment ceremony for the Chief Expert and the second batch of Senior Experts and Experts of Reanda’s “Belt and Road” Business Service Think Tank. Through deep integration of industry, academia, and research, along with efficient government-enterprise collaboration, Reanda International will continue to strengthen the foundation of the overseas service ecosystem and further improve its global service network to provide stronger support for Chinese enterprises going global.

During the thematic speech session, several authoritative industry experts and scholars shared cutting-edge insights and analysed key issues surrounding Chinese enterprises’ overseas expansion. Mr. Wang Yaping, President of the China Association of International Trade and Economic Accounting and former Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus, delivered a speech on the theme “Only Compliant Overseas Expansion Enables Steady and Far-Reaching Progress.” He provided an in-depth interpretation of compliance essentials for Chinese enterprises operating overseas, emphasising that strict adherence to the laws of host countries, international conventions, and internal regulations is essential. He noted that compliance is not only a safeguard for operational safety and a reflection of core competitiveness, but also an active choice and responsibility of enterprises. He also put forward five specific recommendations, including strengthening top-level design, building a robust compliance system, and promoting technology-enabled compliance. He called for all parties to collaborate in building a compliance ecosystem to help Chinese enterprises achieve steady and sustainable development in complex international environments.

Mr. Ma Jianchun, President of the China Society for World Trade Organisation Studies and former Chinese Ambassador to Gambia, provided an in-depth analysis of the development trends of the multilateral trading system and the potential opportunities for Chinese enterprises going global. He offered valuable insights for enterprises to better understand the global trade landscape and strategically position themselves in overseas markets.

Mr. Wu Xiaoqiang, Chairman of the Specialised Committee of the Asian-Oceanian Tax Consultants’ Association (AOTCA), delivered a detailed explanation of compliance strategies and tax planning essentials for Chinese enterprises expanding overseas under the new global tax reform landscape. He pointed out that the Two-Pillar Solution aims to address tax challenges arising from the digital economy. Currently, Chinese enterprises going global face issues such as increased tax burdens, expiration of preferential policies, additional tax payments, and heightened compliance pressure. Enterprises must strengthen compliance management, optimise their structures, and enhance global tax coordination to reduce tax risks in overseas expansion.

Mr. Guo Baochun, Vice President of Yonyou Network and General Manager of its Overseas Business Division, shared practical pathways for empowering Chinese enterprises’ global operations through digital intelligence in the AI era. Drawing from Yonyou’s 23 years of experience in overseas services, he showcased how Chinese enterprises have leveraged their strengths in the domestic market — resources and talent — to achieve success in overseas markets. His presentation provided valuable, actionable experience for Chinese companies seeking to expand internationally through digital and intelligent technologies.

This clearly demonstrated Reanda International’s capability and commitment to providing full-process support for Chinese enterprises expanding overseas.

In the roundtable discussion session, moderated by Mr. Huang Jinhui, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Reanda International, nearly 20 guests from government departments, industry and commerce associations, universities, overseas enterprises, financial institutions, the international accounting profession, and former Chinese diplomats from overseas embassies and consulates engaged in in-depth exchanges. Under Chairman Huang’s guidance, they discussed the theme “Multi-Party Collaboration: Building a High-Quality Comprehensive Overseas Service Ecosystem.” The participants freely shared views on policy support, compliance and risk control, talent cultivation, financial services, and overseas risk prevention. The atmosphere was pragmatic and enthusiastic, yielding fruitful results and constructive recommendations.

Mr. Chen Jian, former Vice Minister of Commerce, delivered the concluding remarks for the seminar. He highly praised Reanda International for organising this practical and meaningful event, describing it as fulfilling an important social responsibility. He emphasised that the current complex and challenging domestic and international market environment urgently requires the establishment of a comprehensive and robust service system for Chinese enterprises going global. All relevant parties must identify the correct direction and effective pathways, focus on practical implementation, prioritise the asset security of overseas Chinese enterprises, and accelerate the development of a comprehensive overseas service system. The goal is to provide precise and efficient services to better safeguard Chinese enterprises, helping them achieve steady and sustainable development with high quality in the global market.
