From 14-16 July 2019, the Reanda International delegation of three led by Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui visited Portugal to attend the Forum on Sino-Portuguese Business and Economic Relations, Cooperation and Development and paid courtesy visits to meet with government officials and Chinese companies in Portugal together with the partners of Reanda Portugal correspondent firm Cascais, Pêga Magro & Roque, SROC Lda.
On 14 July, Chairman Mr. Huang visited Reanda Portugal correspondent firm’s office in Lisbon and held a working meeting with Mr. Domingos Cascais, Mr. Pedro Lourenço, Mr. Jose Farinha, Mr. Sergio Silva and Mr. Pedro Castañom, partners of Portugal correspondent firm to understand the client portfolio and recent development of the firm and Chairman Huang discussed the strategies in strengthening ties with Chinese enterprises in Portugal.
In the morning of 15 July, the Reanda delegation led by the Chairman Mr. Huang, including Mr. Domingos Cascais, Mr. Pedro Lourenço, Mr. Jose Farinha, Mr. sergio silva and Mr. Pedro Castaño, and other personnel from Reanda Beijing headquarters and the Portugal firm visited China Construction Portugal to meet with Mr. Wang Jue, manager of the company. Chairman Huang introduced the latest development of Reanda International and the Portugal correspondent firm, and shared the historical relationship between Reanda China and the China Construction group. During the meeting, Mr. Wang introduced the latest development of China Construction and explored with the delegation on potential cooperation between China Construction Portugal and Reanda Portugal correspondent firm.
In the afternoon, the forum on Sino-Portuguese Business and Economic Relations, Cooperation and Development was hosted by Reanda Portugal correspondent firm Cascais, Pêga Magro & Roque, SROC Lda with the support from Reanda International. The forum was attended by over 80 guests including government officials and representatives from Chinese and Portuguese enterprises and was ended with profound success.
On 16 July, the day was started by a visit to Fidelidade, the largest insurance company in Portugal. The team was warmly received by Mr. Miguel Machado, head of China Desk of Fidelidade. During the meeting, the delegation learnt that 80% of shares of Fidelidade was acquired by a Chinese conglomerate in 2017. Since then, Fidelidade attached great importance to the Chinese market and established a China Desk in order to cater to Chinese clients’ needs in Portugal. Chairman Huang. Mr. Machado also exchanged insights on how to expand the China Desk in Fidelidade and ways to hire Chinese staff in Portugal while Chairman Huang expressed his appreciation on Fidelidade’s continuing efforts in exploring the Chinese market in Portugal.
It was followed by a courtesy visit to the Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Chinese embassy in Portugal to meet with Minister Counsellor Ms. Xu Weili. Chairman Huang presented the history and latest development of Reanda International, including but not limited to the recent successful cases of Reanda Malta, Turkey and Nepal on providing services to Chinese clients in the countries. Counsellor Xu indicated that the bilateral relations between China and Portugal were now in the best of times while there was growing number of Chinese companies invested in the country. During meeting, Mr. Jose Farinha also introduced to Counsellor Xu the latest development of the Portugal firm and expressed that they were poised to support the Counsellor’s Office in providing tax and legal training services to Chinese enterprises in Portugal.
The three-day productive visit brought Reanda excellent opportunities to further promote its brand in Portugal and assisted Reanda Portugal correspondent firm to get connected with the Chinese enterprises and different parties for exploring business opportunities.
